Reasoning Ability: Syllogism Set 2

 Dear Readers,

Logical Reasoning is a part of almost all major sarkari naukri exams conducted in the country and is one of the most scoring sections as well. So here we are sharing reasoning ability questions and answers to improve your mental ability for upcoming competitive exams. 

Directions (Q. 1 - 10): In this question three/four statements followed by two conclusions numbered I and II have been given. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

                        Some letters are symbols.
                        No symbol is a triangles.
    Conclusion: I. All symbols are numbers.
                        II. Some letters are not triangles.

3. Statements: Some students are members.
                        No member is a teacher.
                        All teachers are players.
    Conclusion: I. Some students are not teachers.
                        II. Some members are not players.

4. Statements: No cup is a bottle.
                        All plates are spoons.
                        No bottle is a spoon.
    Conclusion: I. No spoon is a cup.
                        II. Some plates are cups.

5. Statements: Some dogs are rats.
                        All rats are trees.
                        Some trees are not dogs.
    Conclusion: I.Some trees are dogs.

6. Statements: Some ice are rings.
                        No ring is paint.
                        Some rings are gold.
    Conclusions: I. No any gold is paint.

                         All watches are radios.
    Conclusions: I. Some radios are watches.
